I am looking for anyone who may have been or has any knowledge about the 1948 Voyage of the "General Black" which stopped in the first months of 1948 in Peru. The ship carried Russian displaced persons who were in a Red Cross DP persons camp in Italy apx. in 1946-1947. Anyone with information on this voyage, please write. Thank you.
