If you go to the front page of the National Archives web site at http://www.naa.gov.au and click on one of the links or buttons for RecordSearch, you can enter as guest and search for <Waclaw Ambrozy>.  You'll find one record for Waclaw, Anna and two children, which shows that they travelled to Australia as "Displaced Persons...per Goya departing Naples 25 September 1949".  The Access status of the record is "Not yet examined", so you will need to send an e-mail to <ref@naa.gov.au> asking that the file with barcode 5029221 be made available to the public.  You might as well ask at the same time for a quote on the price of digitizing or photocopying the contents of the file.

Keep in mind that there should also be aliens' registration documents and a citizenship application somewhere in the system.  You should ask <ref@naa.gov.au> about them too.  Probably it is best to do this in a separate e-mail.  If you can quote a number from someone's citizenship certificate, that will help a lot.

I am trying to find out more about the passenger list of Goya.
My mother in-law was on the Goya that arrived in Melbourne on 26 December 1949.
Her name was Slusarczyk.
I was hoping to find more pepole on this ship, that can share their stories with me, as I am doing an album for my mother in-law.
When they got off the ship, they were sent to a camp in Sale.
If you can help that would be great.
