Turner: Have you had a look in RecordSearch on the http://www.naa.gov.au site--the National Archives' data base? My search produced 30 results on the Tarasenko family name.

Dear Claudia: Using the RecordSearch link from the top right of the National Archives' home page at http://naa.gov.au produced two records for Piotr Kalandyk.
One shows when he arrrived:

Contents date range

The other provides a date of birth:

You can send an e-mail to <ref@naa.gov.au> asking for photocopies or digitization of both files.
You can take similar steps to see if the records of persons with the family Kruszynski already on RecordSearch are the people from whom you are looking. If not, give their details in an e-mail to <ref@naa.gov.au> or, better still, visit an Archives Reading Room and explain for what you are looking to one of the archivists.
Hope this helps,
Ann

Dear Jennie, The "Bonegilla cards" for the family members in the National Archives's series A2571 will not tell you the hut number, but they certainly will tell you the dates when the family came and left, plus where they went after Bonegilla. Send an e-mail to <ref@naa.gov.au> asking for photocopies of your family's cards. [The Archives is not digitizing the cards.]
Sorry to have left this post without an answer for so long, Ann.

Hi, I'm trying to find out any information on Josef and Edith Hyde who arrived on the ill fated ship, Liguria in January 1951 with their two daughters Jutta and Christel. I think they went to Melbourne on the Nellie and on to Bonegilla. I would like to find out any information at all regarding their voyage to Australia and transfer to Bonegilla. They were my parents and are no longer with us, so any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, Marlis! Have a look at the FAQ section at the beginning of the Forums list for advice on how to track down selection records, passenger list, etc. And please post your message to the Nelly and Liguria forums as well.
I am in touch with someone else from this voyage but I don't think that he has posted to these forums yet. I will check this out.
And I hope you noticed the reply to Jennie about looking at the Bonegilla cards in the National Archives. If this does not mean much to you yet, please read and action the FAQ posts next.
Enjoy your own voyage through the records, Ann

Hi!.. I am looking for family migrant records for Karl Moser, Charlotte Gertrude Hedwig Moser and Dorothea Hedwig Moser. My parents and I departed Cuxhaven, Germany on the SS Anna Salen on 27th May 1954. The Anna Salen docked in Melbourne approximately 6 weeks later after first docking in Freemantle. We were at Bonegilla Migrant Centre for a couple of weeks and then transferred to Wacol Migrant Centre in Brisbane.
I would appreciate information on any records you have for my family including information about the ship's manifest.
Thank you
Regards,
Dorry (Moser) Beutel

Dorry, have a look at the FAQ posts in these forums for advice on how to get what you are seeking from the National Archives of Australia (NAA). You may need to phone your nearest Archives office or e-mail <ref@naa.gov.au> because your voyage probably is outside the timespan (1947-51) of the mass movement of Displaced Persons by ship, for which all available materials have been placed on the NAA's online RecordSearch.
