Nelly departing Naples 18 October 1949

Heya. Is there anyone else out there decendant of those who came out on this voyage?

Departing Naples, 18th October 1949, arriving Melbourne, 13 November 1949.

My grandparents were on it: DALECKI, Stefan & Kamila with baby Stefan.

Email me if you have any news/advice/info, or even a passenger list.

Thanks!

Krysia

The traffic here can be a bit slow, but we've already had one set of first cousins find each other.  I hope that you find more people from your specific Nelly voyage or that they find you here.

Hi

You can purchase complete immigration passenger lists for ships arriving into Melbourne from the Public records office. You can call them and order the list for $25 which takes 3 weeks or you can visit and photocopy the page you are after for 90c per page. Their address is 99 Sheil St North Melbourne, Telephone: +61 3 9348 5600.

I confirmed this afternoon that they do hold the record for the Nelly departing Naples 18 October 1949.

Regards Cristie

Welcome, Cristie!  Does your helpful post mean that, like Khrystene, you are a descendant of someone who came on that voyage?

Re: Nelly departing Naples 18 October 1949

Hi, I am also a descendant of passengers on the Nelly departing Naples 18 October 1949. My Grandparents Felikss and Vilma (dec) Jekabsons and my mum Malda and my great aunt Ingrid Larsons (dec - Vilma's sister). They came from a displaced persons camp in Lubek in Germany. My mum was born there in 1948.
